Rhodes and Lindos

We slept late this morning, missed morning stretch, grabbed a quick coffee and were off the ship to find our pre-planned bus to Lindos.

Lindos is an absolutely beautiful village with a well preserved acropolis on the hilltop above and bays on both sides.

Terri, conquerer of Lindos
Parched from the conquering of Lindos, we stopped at a rooftop taverna to quench our thirst and hunger

After our break we headed to the shallow bay. The water was warm and Terri actually joined me for a swim. We had brought a frisbee and decided to play catch. Terri was a bit rusty at frisbee tossing and I got a lot of exercise chasing her throws, I’m sure that we were quite entertaining😆.

We returned to Rhodes with time to spare and ventured out into the city.

Just don’t know but I liked it

  2. So it looks like they are repairing/restoring the acropolises and other structures. I recently saw a program that showed how some buildings or monuments where once painted. Do you ever see that?
