Since we were still in Italy we had to schedule an excursion thru the ship. Rubber boats seemed fun and Porto Venere is known as the “sixth” Cinque Terre(?).
The tour started with a luxury motor coach (I.e. fancy bus) ride to La Spezia where we strolled along the beach promenade to our rubber boats. The boats were actually fast rigid hull inflatables captained by young Italians who liked showing off for one another, it was a fun ride!

Once in Porto Venere, some one asked, “where should we meet if we happen to get separated?” Our guide told us we were required to stay together, but if we did get “lost” we would rejoin at the harbor in 2 hours, Terri and I got lost instantly😃.

Great photos – again! You are getting some perfect traveling & photo weather. (I think this one got out-of-order due to that lengthy video). Planes trains automobiles PLUS boats, scooters, gondola’s, bikes…have I missed anything? You guys get around!!! Enjoy!
