Terri’s two cents…

Traveling with a backpack can be challenging, especially after traveling in the RV where I can pack whatever I may need. On this trip it is even more challenging as we start in warm weather and will finish in pretty cold temperatures. As for the comment (thank you – we love comments!) from my friend regarding my heels pictured in Matts last blog, those were disposable. I haven’t worn heels since I retired, so instead of giving them away, I packed them along with a fancy dress I hadn’t worn in years. They got some use on the cruise but now my backpack is just a bit lighter. Disposable clothes…it’s the way to go. Now it is back to my hiking boots and flip flops, just the way I like it.
Also for our next European adventure, I must remember my cheeky (aka thong) bathing suit. (Oh wait, I don’t own a cheeky suit but I am sure it wouldn’t have taken up much room!). I was the only one on the beach in Spain with my a$$ completely covered! Maybe next time.

  1. Disposable heels…..genius Terri! I thought I was a smarty pants (pun) throwing out old underwear when I went on a trip until my friend said to me, “they don’t take up very much room Linda.” This is true, but maybe mine do😜. No one will never know. I am still in awe of the back packs .

  2. What a great idea with leaving your shoes and dress behind after you didn’t need them anymore! 🤣 your trip seems to be amazing! Enjoy!
